Drain Cleaning Service We performed professional drain cleaning by removing the P-trap and running a 1/2-inch drain cable through the line. The cable was worked back and forth to effectively break up and clear the blockage. During the process, grease buildup was pulled back on the cable, indicating the primary cause of the stoppage. Kitchen sink drain successfully cleared Flow restored and system tested for proper drainage Warranty: Due to the nature of grease-related blockages, no warranty is provided on drain cleaning services. Shower Head Installation Installed two customer-supplied shower heads, ensuring proper fit and secure connections. Warranty: No warranty on customer-supplied materials. Shower Valve Repair Replaced a faulty Moen shower cartridge in the master bathroom to rest
To remove and replace tank to bowl kit in upstairs master bathroom. 90 days warranty on workmanship
Performed a sewer line inspection for new home buyer through the existing 3-inch cleanout located near the front door. The sewer line was thoroughly evaluated and is in very good condition at this time. No warranty
Call out to clogged toilet. Technician on site tested toilet by flushing multiple times and running water in bathroom sinks. Unable to get toilet to clog. Per customer the water in the toilet bowl never filled completely, and they accidentally flushed wipes. Clog likely passed on its own. Pressure measured at 85 psi. Residential pressure should be no higher than 80 psi to protect the pipes and fixtures from damage. Bow Tie plumbing will replace the failing 1 inch double union pressure regulator with a new 1 inch double union pressure regulator. 1 year warranty on workmanship.

Call out to leak inside wall. Technician on site performed a free leak detection with thermal camera and moisture meter. No moisture found in the bathroom, stairwell, or kitchen ceiling. No obvious signs of water damage. Technician determined the sound could be caused by a partial blockage or turbulence in the drain. Ran a quarter inch cable back and forth multiple times to ensure clear drainage. After running the drain snake there was a noticeable improvement to the sound coming from the wall. Advised customer to monitor for signs of moisture and call back if needed. 30 day warranty on drain clean. During service the water pressure in the shower seemed low. Technician measured water pressure at 45 psi. Per customer they had a new pressure regulator installed recently. Adjusted pressure to 70 psi and removed hand spray flow restrictor to improve flow in the shower. No charge for aerator removal or pressure adjustment. No warranty on work provided at no charge.
First off, thank you to the team at Bow Tie plumbing. I had a dripping noise in the wall that was previously diagnosed from another plumber that was recommending tearing everything apart leading to a huge cost. I had some doubts because there was little to no testing done to verify that claim. I wanted a second opinion and since my regular plumber had retired, I gave the folks at Bowtie a chance. Billy was the one who helped get me scheduled and walk me through the process. After getting my appointment set up, I got a confirmation and the next day I got a text about Will on the way. It even had a little map where I could track his location. When he arrived he quickly got to work to diagnose the potential leak and actually tested several areas using different tools IE thermal imaging and moisture meter. In the end, we concluded there was not a leak since neither test picked up anything and that it was just a obstructed drain pipe. We went ahead and ran the drain snake in and voila! The dripping noise was addressed. He also noticed my water pressure was low and helped me fix that along with fixing my shower head that had some blockage. Will was patient and kind throughout the whole process and gladly explained to my curious self what he was doing, why, and how. All the ins and outs with all the transparency I could ask for. I'm super relieved that this turned out to be a small issue and am glad to have given these guys a chance. They're now my go to plumber, at least until they retire lol Thank you again Will! Sudden escape of water from upstairs to downstairs due to bursted drain line. Drain Line repair: Replaced section of bursted drain line with new 2 inch wye, 45, p trap and no hub coupling. Reconnected to inch and a half vent line. Tested flow after repair was made. No leaks. 1 year warranty on workmanship.
