Irrigation Pressure Regulator Replacement Upon arrival, I was directed to the irrigation pressure regulator serving the irrigation system. After inspection, I determined that the existing 1-1/4-inch pressure regulator was malfunctioning and no longer controlling water pressure properly. Findings The excessive water pressure was causing damage to the irrigation sprinkler valves and could lead to additional irrigation system failures if left uncorrected.
