Work Performed Hydro jetted the area drain from the easement through the property toward the house Ran approximately 45 to 55 feet of hydro jetter hose to clear the line Performed a camera inspection to locate the area drain and identify any defects Removed massive root intrusion from the drain system Ran a camera through the 3-inch area drain on the west side of the house Cut into the 3-inch plastic area drain pipe to remove additional root intrusion Hydro jetted the line again to remove remaining roots and debris Performed a final camera inspection to assess the condition of the piping Findings Located a broken elbow fitting in a planter area approximately 7 feet deep Found massive root intrusion in multiple sections of the drain line Discovered a broken 3-inch PVC 45-degree fitting within the area drain system Recommend
Shower Valve, Shower Head & Drain Relocation Bow Tie Plumbing & Rooter will install a new customer-supplied shower valve as part of the shower remodel. Scope of Work Shut off the water supply to safely perform the installation Remove the existing shower valve Install the new customer-supplied shower valve and make all necessary water line connections Raise the shower head approximately 4 inches to accommodate the new shower layout Install a new shower drain Restore water service upon completion Test all connections for leaks and verify proper operation of the shower valve and drain system Notes This scope includes rough plumbing work associated with the shower remodel. Dryer Vent Cleaning Upon arrival, I was dispatched to address a restricted dryer vent due to lint buildup. Work Performed Accessed the dryer vent system and cleaned the vent line Worked equipment back and forth through the vent to remove accumulated lint and debris Cleared the blockage to restore proper airflow Verified the vent was operating properly after cleaning Results The dryer vent was successfully cleaned, and airflow was restored. Kitchen Drain Hydro Jetting Upon arrival, I was dispatched to address a kitchen drain line stoppage. Findings After inspecting the kitchen drain system, I confirmed that the line was heavily clogged due to excessive grease and debris buildup within the drain piping. Work Performed Initially attempted to clear the blockage using a drain cable to restore flow Determined that the buildup was too severe for cabling alone to fully clear the line Attempted to clear the drain using a small hydro jetting machine, but the blockage remained due to the extent of the buildup Utilized a larger trailer-mounted hydro jetting machine with high-temperature water to thoroughly clean the drain line Successfully removed the buildup and restored proper drainage flow Tested the drain system multiple times to verify proper operation after cleaning Results The kitchen drain line was successfully cleared and is now flowing freely with no signs of backup at the time of service. Main Sewer Line Stoppage Clearing Upon arrival, I was dispatched to address a main sewer line stoppage. Work Performed Tested plumbing fixtures and confirmed the drainage system was backing up Inspected the main sewer cleanout and found standing water, confirming a blockage in the main line Identified a clogged backwater/check valve box with paper buildup restricting flow Ran a professional mainline cable machine through the sewer line and out toward the city sewer connection Cleared the blockage and restored proper drainage flow through the system Tested the drainage system after clearing to verify proper operation Findings The stoppage was caused by paper accumulation at the backwater/check valve assembly, which restricted the flow of wastewater through the sewer line. Kitchen Drain & Floor Drain Hydro Jetting Upon arrival, I performed hydro jetting services to address grease buildup and restricted drainage within the kitchen and floor drain systems. Work Performed Hydro jetted the kitchen drain line through the exterior cleanout Removed heavy grease buildup from the kitchen drain piping Hydro jetted two floor drain lines multiple times to break up and remove grease and debris accumulation Restored proper drainage flow through all serviced drain lines Tested drainage to verify proper operation after cleaning Findings Heavy grease and debris buildup were restricting flow within the kitchen drain and floor drain systems. Multiple hydro jetting passes were required to thoroughly clean the lines and restore proper drainage. We had a great experience with Bow Tie Plumbing. Will quickly diagnosed the issue. He repaired a leaking wax seal, removed an old toilet seat, and installed a bidet with no issues at all. Will was professional, efficient, and took the time to make sure everything was working properly before leaving. Billy is absolutely awesome! He came to my house promptly, and took care of the issue flawlessly. He is fantastic about communicating, and is completely dependable.
